If you are into crypto already, you probably have a good idea about NFTs and what they are. If you aren’t, a quick explanation is that they are non-fungible tokens, which are uniquely identifiable and have a distinct value depending on that uniqueness.
All decentralized games give you their own version of these NFTs. Axie Infinity’s ‘Axies’ are one type of NFT, CryptoKitties another, and Gods Unchained cards, etc. You get the point.
So you have been playing dApps for some time now and you have acquired a good collection of NFTs from a variety of games. The problem lies when you have a really good Axie, maybe a mystic or a pure, and you want to trade that with a high level CryptoKitty. How do you do that? Do you DM the person and get their address? Do you send your NFT first? If you send it first, you don’t know if they will be reciprocal and send you back theirs. There is a trust aspect in these peer-to-peer transactions for cross game trades.
